About

Hello Friend!

I am so happy to have you here.

My name is Rachel Elizabeth Eickhoff.

I am a Minnesotan. I am a daughter, sister, fiancé, and proud dog mom. I am a certified yoga instructor and a fitness enthusiast.

I am an educator with a Bachelors’ Degree in Consumer Affairs, Marketing, and Advertising and a Masters’ Degree in Communication and Media Studies. I am passionate about learning and making information accessible to everyone.

I am an empath who has a whole lot of love to share with the world.

I am an expert party planner after planning my wedding three times now because of COVID19. You could say I am very excited to marry my high school sweet heart after being engaged since 2018.

I am a strong advocate for mental health specifically eating disorders, depression, and anxiety, and talk very opening about them throughout my reflections. I hope that through my posts, others can feel confident enough to share their own struggles and stories about mental health. That way we can break the stigma surrounding mental health together.

I can usually be found spending time with my fiancé and our amazing fur babies, traveling with my family, binge watching Schitt’s Creek, enjoying delicious food, doing yoga, and listening to podcasts or Hamilton (for the millionth time). My current podcast obsession is My Favorite Murder which is a perfect blend of comedy, murder, and conversations about mental health.

One of the main goals of my blog is to spread positivity through genuine stories about my life (both the positive and negative). Additionally, my blog serves as a place for me to journal and reflect on the world around me.

I hope this blog encourages you to challenge how you view yourself, how you think about mental health, and how you interact with the world around you. Feel free to leave a comment or follow me on social media!
